WHAT WE DO

The Glass Lab is both a place and a practice. We use kiln-glass as a catalyst for igniting imaginations. We design and implement programs and educational resources that travel to museums and schools in support of Bullseye Projects’ exhibitions and activities.

We regularly collaborate and partner with artists, educators, cultural  institutions, nonprofits, and foundations to offer field trips, classes, and multi-session workshops centered on hands-on making.

HOW WE DO IT

The Glass Lab explores forward-thinking educational models, using student inquiry-based approach. Our focus is on programs that foster a growth mindset, including creativity and critical thinking. We encourage experimentation, investigation, and skill-sharing as ways of thinking through making. Our approach is tailored to the sensitivities and learning styles of kids ages three and up, with a focus on families making and learning together.
