This installation documents the loss of wetlands near the Palo Alto Baylands in San Francisco Bay. Multiple layers of fused glass show filled and developed former wetlands (copper inclusions and sandblasting) next to existing wetlands (frit painting). These designs are based on present day aerial photographs and the historical 1857 United States Coastal Survey Map of San Francisco Bay.
