Catharine Newell on Oregon Art Beat (OPB TV)

Oregon Art Beat will re-broadcast a story profiling Bullseye artist Catharine Newell on Thursday, August 9, at at 8:00 pm. The story is part of a "Viewer's Favorites" series and is one of their most popular segments! The broadcast originally aired on March 22, 2007.

Newell's latest work will be on display in Bullseye's North Gallery through early fall 2007. Bullseye Gallery is located at 300 NW 13th Avenue in Portland's Pearl District.

Oregon Art Beat is an Emmy-award-winning weekly television series produced by Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB). It profiles artists, musicians, and artisans, and suggests upcoming events. As Executive Producer Jeff Douglas explained, "The purpose of Oregon Art Beat is to introduce people to the arts and cultural events happening in the community. We know we've accomplished our mission if, after watching the show, viewers get involved."
