April Surgent wins UrbanGlass' Award for New Talent

Bullseye Gallery is pleased to announce that April Surgent has received the 2010 UrbanGlass Award for New Talent.

UrbanGlass, founded in 1977, is a leading resource for both aspiring and established artists wishing to create with glass. Through their studio, educational programs, and the acclaimed GLASS Quarterly, UrbanGlass fosters innovative art and advances the use and appreciation of glass as a creative medium.

April Surgent graduated with honors from The Australian National University School of Art in Canberra. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Hotel Murano in Tacoma, Washington, the Embassy of Spain in Canberra, and the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, Virginia.
