"The fifth Premio Glass in Venice promoted by the Istituto Veneto di Scienze Lettere ed Arti and the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia will be held in Palazzo Franchetti, Venice, at 5.30 pm on 26 September. This year’s prize is awarded to the Venetian master Bruno Amadi and the Argentinian artist Silvia Levenson.

[...]

Silvia Levenson has been artistically expressing the potential of glass for some time, and is distinguished by her commitment to the production of highly evocative works. Self-taught, she is able to independently bend the glass techniques to expressive values developed personally over the course of her life and her experience as an artist.
