Veronika Suter

I believe the fascination of glass lies in its contradictory nature; in its brittle fragility contrasted against its hard, transparent strength. These characteristics, and the great sensitivity of the raw material when being worked, invite me to express myself in distinctive and minimalist forms.

Veronika Suter is a glass artist who works mainly in casting and and pâte de verre. After attending classes at Creative Glass in Zurich, Switzerland, led by internationally recognized glass artists, she began to explore the material. The result is a distinctive technical style combining color and texture in unexpected forms.
