Mounted in conjunction with BECon 2003, a conference for educators in kiln glass, Legacy explores the relationships that underpin learning in the multi-layered world of kilnforming. From university educators and their students, to weekend workshop beginners and their course leaders, to studio operators and their apprentices, Legacy is a visual overview of the products of teaching and learning to kilnwork glass.
BECon aims to support teachers in the field of kiln-glass by providing both accurate technical information and suggesting effective methods for the presentation of those materials within a classroom context. Through these efforts the Bullseye Glass Co. strives to insure a healthy future for the medium, public appreciation for kiln-glass as a glassworking method, and the continued growth of kiln-glass activity within the commercial and non-commercial sectors.
