Neues Glas - No. 4/20201
Passage is the third project at The Byre and marks a departure, understandably, from previous shows. Residencies were halted and the artists, Stine Bidstrup (Denmark), Æsa Björk (Norway), Matt Durran (UK), Jeffrey Sarmiento (UK/Australia), and Petr Stanický (Czech Republic), relied on photographs, maps, and memories from previous visits. Using various strategies, they were remotely working in one of the distinct spaces of The Byre: Horse Barn, Cow Barn, Store Room, Hay Barn, and the external animal pens.
