Kirstie Rea is an award-winning, full-time studio artist who lives and works in Australia. She taught at the Glass Workshop at the Canberra School of Art for many years and has conducted workshops and participated in artist residencies internationally. Rea has been widely lauded for her spare, minimal work, which is included in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra. In 2009, Rea received the Lifetime Achievement Award from AusGlass, the Australian Association of Glass Artists.
