Making art is speaking in a visual language. Glass and paintings are merely dialects of the same language. Color, tone, line and shape are some of the words that make up that language. In my work these elements are the expression of the sensual life made visible. The world as I physically experience it is what gives mejoy and solace; I aspire to articulate those emotions through art. - Martha Pfanschmidt
